The untapped potential of emerging and developing markets presents an extraordinary opportunity for creating social impact while generating return on investment. But the capital doesn’t flow as expected and businesses in the global south lack access to traditional banking services and financing. Capital 4 Impact aims to unlock private sector capital to enable businesses in the global south to grow, creating social impact and return on investment.

We employ innovative finance instruments and purpose-driven partnerships to de-risk investment in developing and emerging markets. Working through the Plan International global network provides us with local operational capacity and access to priority markets, in order to find, select and invest in the most promising projects, creating long-term value for communities, alongside financial return.
